MPOWER z87 won't post

Today i got my msi z87 mpower board, 4x4GB corsair vengeance pro 2133 cl9 ram and a 4770k. I am using my old AX650, which definitely works and the H60 i had.
I can't pass posting, i crash literally within a split second after i press the power button. both 8pins and the 24 pin are  plugged in properly, i removed all RAM besides one, which i moved around the slots as well, i removed the GPU, i reseated the h60 and reapplied the thermal paste, i reseated the cpu, i reseated all cables 4 times. it just doesn't work.
the first time it would run but didn't show an image, after about a minute it turned off completely, after reseating the cables it now crashes immediately. I am completely out of ideas.

I had the same issue with a z77 and 3570k

I ended up not even caring to try and fix it after an hour and RMA'd them lol

its not just MSI friend

ALOT of companies let shit through

you just got a little unlucky, if this didn't happen, RMA wouldn't exist ^_^

they say they test the boards with a 24h burn in, so how can that shit pass? my money is currently on the CPU.

Motherboards are tricky to guarantee to keep working. Even if your board passed MSI's certification process, there's nothing that can stop the motherboard from just dying right after or during the shipping process. You were just unlucky.

 

Edit: Did you check to see if any of the pins were bent over in the CPU socket?
