Headset weird noise

Hey, my headset has this weird noise that gets annoying and happens every 5 secs or so and carries on for a while then stops, heres a video explaining it:

 

(the bit I'm talking about starts at 6 secs)

My headset is a turtle beach px21

 

If anyone knew how to fix this then that would be great

Judging by the picture, tyre cable is broken? I mean, obviously that's the issue...

The cable for sure, no doubt. 

 

New cable is the best option really.

Where can I buy one or can I just sellotape the seal back up?

The copper has split from the look of the cable so i doubt that will work.

Or order the cable from ebay as a spare part.

I mean an entire cable and amplifier. 

A spare Turtle Beach cable or an aftermarket compatible one!

I had a look and its not to do with my wall socket/plug because I recently moved upstairs and it still does it, Could it be my soundboard on my motherboard?
