help with wireless card.

Go to solution Solved by bbrooking18,

How would I know what's compatible with my router?

It should be since wireless is backwards compatible, it will work at the slowest speed, e.g. I have an AC wireless card that came with my mobo and I have a N router so it works at N and if I had an AC router and a N certified card then I would see N speeds most modern routers are a/b/g/n so unless your is very old you should be fine

Im building a decent pc next month and I have no idea about networking cards. Can anyone help? If you need more info let me know I can give you what I can find. Thanks and sorry about the stupidity.
