R9 290

So i have a single R9 290 and im going to water cool it and my cpu, but i am thinking about adding another one into it. And my question would then be should i? 
Might get 1440p monitor later.

the 290 is a great card to crossfire.

If you only have a 1080p monitor you won't get much more "usable" performance. At 1440p I reckon you could still max everything out with two 290's

I love my crossfire R9 290s, just keep in mind that the performance you get is never "guaranteed". Crossfire might not work perfectly on every game, but when it works (which has been the vast majority of cases from my experience) it's absolutely beautiful. And yes, if you want to max out everything at 1440p a second card is required.
