he is talking about 13% SALES tax.  he's also paying a massive income tax, plus a million other stupid little taxes that all add up to probably 75%.

Sucks man. =/

I believe it's sealed.

If its an all-in-one, then there really isnt much to installing it. If you are capable of building the computer, then adding the cooler to it should be a cake walk. Do you already have it picked out?

If youre doing a custom loop, then I would say this: Don't.

When in doubt, re-format.

Do you guys think buying from NCIX in the States would be much cheaper?

Won't really do much cause the currency exchange will affect quite a lot as well. Somewhat you might get a few things cheaper but only for so much unless you go to a microcenter.

This is better also.

Reducing the price on it ain't hard either. Switch the I5 4690K for I5 4440/4460. 290X to 290. Remove Cooler if you plan on switching the cpu.

Case wise, with the cooler for this cpu won't fit in your case I just chose a random case that I thought was good enough but you can change that if you want something else.

Also changing the Motherboard to something else like Gigabyte/Asrock since they sell cheaper boards. I made this a black and blue build but if colour scheme doesn't matter to you than just choose cheapest 1600/1866 8GB ram, it won't affect performance at all

I don't know how NCIX's policy works, but wouldn't you have to buy all your components from them so that they build it? That will surely increase your cost.

Seriously man, build it yourself too. Youll save a few dollars and learn something new. It really isnt hard at all and there are some great guides online, especially on linus' youtube channel.

Also, it is never cheaper to get stuff from the states because of import duties and shipping.

When in doubt, re-format.

I'm paying NCIX to build the computer.

I think I could do it, but I don't like the risk.

It's for my family to use as well, and I don't want to break or damage anything.

So is this your personal computer or the family computer? Family computer than just grab a Core i3 and use onboard graphics.

Try to buy from 1 vendor, that way you save on shipping cost.

I live in Ontario and the tax is 13 percent.

Sadly if I were to pay for my build, it'd go up by 100-400 dollars, and I can't afford that.

I was going to pay NCIX to build it for me because I don't know how to install water cooling.

Buying from the US is a bad idea right now, as the exchange rate is CRAP!

For best prices in Canada, always check http://directcanada.com/  and  http://www.memoryexpress.com/

as a side note, Direct Canada is a sister company to NCIX.  their prices are better (they have no retail outlet), and free shipping over $50.
