1. I didn't notice an increase for gaming

2. It will not harm your SSD

 

Edit: Rapid mode is good when transferring files smaller than the RAM cache that is available to the SSD because those happen instantaneously.

so it has basically no use for gaming? if so , i think i should leave it off then.  ygpm!
