Underclocked 750! HALP!

Go to solution Solved by Najuno,

So I was going to play a game, opened it up and got 15 fps on the title screen with just a character. I went to MSI afterburner (don't overclock with it) to see if it was thermal throttling. It was at ~65C but when I looked at the core clock, it was 135 MHz! I have no idea why. The memory is also underclocked to 405 MHz. Tried turning it off and on again, and it's still there. Anyone know why? It was working just fine yesterday. I was getting my 1080p titanfall killstreaks at 60 fps.

But srsly, why is it happening?

Just try to reinstall the driver the card is in idle mode that´s all. No reason to panic.

do with this guy said. Had the same problem with my 7950s running at 400mhz. your drivers probably just got currupted.

Okay good. I was freaking out because I'm using a power supply from an old system and I was worried that it did some damage to the card.

Possible but unlikely with a GTX750... this card has hardly power draw. Just 1 6 pin and the PCIe slot. A 250W PSU is good enough to run this.

Yeah, that's why i wasn't sure. And it doesn't even have a 6-pin.

Oh well then it is absolutely unlikey, unless the PSU is faulty, that you will have a Watts issue. Only a faulty PSU would be able to kill components.
