Agreed, but it was funny seeing it up there. Thought people wanted to check it due to a morbid curiosity, nothing more.

Even more humorous, brought it up on the rsi forums as a funny but ultimately failed attempt at trying to get a deal and half of those that posted had their hackles raised questioning validity of link.

You'd think that people that buy multiple packages would 1) know the existence of massdrop. 2) understand how to find source, check link destination and/or had the intelligence to check validity of a site.

That forum really brings down my opinion of sensibility in humanity...

I gotta admit when the SC community started to really blow up the RSI forums changed from a really pleasant place to commune to more of a negative spot (a.k.a. a normal popular gaming forum ) that's why I don't bother with it any more other than to check dev. posts (though there are still some threads that have an overall good vibe and I hear the subscriber section is still a safe haven), the LTT forums are far more pleasant place and its active enough that the core issues/discoveries/etc. come up in discussions, kinda like what the RSI forums used to be - less the fanatics that would crucify you for bringing up a justifiable concern or trying to make a light hearted joke about something in the game lol.

I'll check out the drop but I'll be honest I don't see it happening

P.S. I added the AC starter package because not only do I think it would be the most useful but if anything I think that would be the most likely to get a green light from CIG.

Very true, for all parts of your post.

 

I doubt it will go anywhere, but it would be interesting to see regardless. Heck... if it does happen, find your friends and force them to buy the cheapest drop version.

 

As for the topic on forums... the rsi one is a mess with lackluster options, even if you don't count the drastic difference in communities. This alone made me decide to fully join and endorse the LTT organization. Cheers as you have found a new member.
