I finally have installed a build of Windows 10, and I really like it so far. However, some of the interface is "laggy". When I click the start menu, it loads up like 95%, freezes for a second, then completes the loading. It also does the same thing when I click on something in the start menu.

Is this a known issue or is there a quick workaround for this? All my drivers are up to date and hardware shouldn't be an issue on this machine.

Thanks.

What did you expect? it's still in Alpha. I just suck it up and deal with it, because it is so much better than 8 on a desktop.

I expected bugs like this, I'm just wondering if it's a Windows 10 bug or a system setting or something that can be altered.

It still is in very early stages, so it could be a bug or just not optimized, or well, it's in early stages

Nope, it just needs to be optimized by Microsoft, which it will be by the time Windows 10 launches in the fall
