Looking For A Cheap Laptop

Hey guys .  I want to get a laptop for a friend, which should be cheap but not garbage on performance. Needs to be max 400$. I will add a ssd after i get the laptop so storage is not important.

My friend gonna use this laptop for home and work. Microsoft office and stuff. Any suggestions ?

Anything Acer,Sony Vaio, Asus...to be honest, there's thousands of laptops under $400 that will fit that scenario.
