Help me setup the raid.

Hi guys .

 

i just bought a 2TB seagate barracuda .

 

i already have a 1tb of same architecture Drive 

 

64MB buffer , SATA 6.0gb , 7200RPM

 

i know raid is a data protecting technology and i want to use my 1bt drive as back up.

 

BUT

I have no idea how to setup raid and what i need for it, what type of raid i have to setup . i've read about type a little but ...that was crossing far above my head.LOL

 

its not a server its home gaming rig. and some fun stuff like movies and all that.

 

Plz advice

 

CPU: i7 4790K | Ram:Corsair Vengeance 8GB | GPU: Asus R9 270 | Cooling :Corsair H100i | Storage : Intel SSD, Seagate HDDs | PSU : Corsair VS 550 | Case: CM HAF Advanced.
