4790k Overclocking problem

when ever i overclock my 4790k it never shows up in cpu z instead it says 4000mhz however in task manager it says 4.55 ghz, how can i stop thius also my cinebench scores are at 4.00ghz aswell also in system is says 4.6GHZ

I don't rely on Windows to give me my frequencies. I rely on my BIOS and CPU-Z to give me accurate numbers.

yes cpu z is saying 4000MHz why is it not changing ?

i think i have fixed it i clicked settings on real temp and unchecked disable turbo now real temp says 4.6 and windows says 5.2

I imagine setting it to Balanced will do nothing except what it's supposed to do.

Task manager can't handle overclocking.

It shows random clockspeeds (for me over 5GHz on both my old 2500k and 4790k) when you overclock.

 

I'm using samsungs high performance profile too and my overclock is working fine so im sure that isnt the problem.

For people wondering: it's samsungs preset from their magician software (software to manage your (Samsung) SSD).
