Hello Friends!

All my Life I've been a console gamer, after going from a Mega Drive to a Xbox 360 I decided to switch to the good side! I've done a lot o research to get to this build, I want it to be pretty potent, being able to play the most recent titles at 1440p in 60fps, and also quiet! Please give me your opinions on this build, I plant to do some Overclocking on it to!

Thanks!

Do you really need the m.2 ssd? Any decent ssd with the same capacity is half that price.

Also, while the psu is a decent wattage, it's still expensive. EVGA has some good 600w power supplies for a lot less, if you so desire.

I agree that the M.2 is a bit unnecessary, but I really feel like checking it out, haha. About the PSU, I'd like one with a Fan-Less mode, so if I let the computer downloading something overnight it stays quiet.

Thanks for the feedback!

EVGA Supernova G2 750W has fanless mode and is cheaper than the Seasonic.

Do you really plan on overclocking your CPU? if not needed you could opt for a B/H series board to save abit more cash

M.2 is overkill, and frankly, apart from bnenchmarks you will notice little difference between normal ssds and it.

Also. You seem to be missing a mouse? :P I'm a deathadder person so yea :P

About the GPU, don't get the G1. You can either:

  1. Save 20$ and get the Gigabyte Windforce OC instead. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-video-card-gvn970wf3oc4gd
  2. Or, save 10$ and get the MSI Gaming 4g. It's just a tiny bit weaker and hotter, but it's also a lot more silent. Plus, you save money. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-gtx970gaming4g

As others pointed out, no need for M2.

Dat... PSU... wtf are you doing?? You could save A LOT of money there. For instance, the G2 from EVGA. It has higher wattage, the same 80+ Gold, costs less, has the same build quality, has the modularity, and has the passive cooling when load is low. Why would you want the Seasonic? Just... wow. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220g20750xr

Thanks, I made some changes and it's a lot cheaper now. Yes I know I need a mouse, I still don't know witch to pick. I use palm grip and have big hands, also, would be nice to have that "snipe button" that changes the dpi while holding it, as I play mostly fps. Any suggestions are welcome!

Thanks again for the awesome tips!
