This is going to be my very first PC (I'm a broke teenager who currently uses the family computer) and I plan on using $700 to make a build which includes the computer, monitor, keyboard and mouse(I also already have a copy of windows and an optical drive from some friends). I plan on using this for just gaming, web browsing, and listening to music on Spotify (no video editing or Photoshop for me). Currently the parts I had in mind are...

An unlocked i5 cpu is not only out of your price range, but also unnecessary. The point of overclocking is better performance, so of you can get better performance without overclocking for less, then do that. A locked i5 will perform better than any amd cpu, even factoring in overclocking.

Dont get an oem cpu either. They dont include the stock coolers and stock coolers are fine for stock clock speeds. A regular locked i5 with stock cooler is more than sufficient and by far the best bang for the buck.
