bitfenix ronan?

Good idea? Using a rampage v motherboard and corsair h100 in this build. I love the look of this case curious if anyone has it or has had one.

case: corsair carbide air 540 motherboard: asus maximus V formula assassin  cpu: intel i7 3770k 3.5ghz cooling: corsair h100  psu: corsair gold ax750w  gpu: amd radeon 7950 3gb  ram: 8gb g.skill sniper  drives: 120gb Samsung 840 ssd, 2tb western digital black

No, for real, i really have a personal one for my 6.y.o. kids computer.

 

But if it is the eatx sized Rampage you are talking about, you may get into trouble with the Ronin.

I´m not familiar about the motherboard size so i cant tell you for sure at the moment, but internal in the ronin you have a bulge where you can pull the 24pin and other cables, this one is 5-6mm higher than motherboard plate. A wider eATX could interfere with this and maybe even cause a short.

 

About the h100i it depends, i have one in the top in the kids computer, it is a bit offset from center but in some motherboards with big coolers/heatsinks it may hit.

im on the fence right now because the Corsair obsidian 450D and the Fractal design R5 are both in my price range and should fit my parts

@rparent i would got the 450D but if u want silence then R5! I have a h440 and i love the clean look!

how do u like it, and what do u have in it. I working with a older rampage V and a corsair h100. so I wanna make sure I have the room for both of them

I LOVE MY H440 ITS AMAZEBALLS!!!!! See my system specs below in my signature........ atx with 240 rad in roof, can take 360 in roof and front aswell as a 140 in the rear all at once and loads of room for a E-ATX as the grommits sit around 2cm away from board which mean it should fit
