Elder scrolls MMO. Will you play it?  I know I will!  It is set for to be sold on December 31st (kinda bad marketing because it's right after christmas and such)

So far from listening to interviews with devs and watching gameplay videos they are just ruining it, the only elder scrolls part about it will be the title.

How so? I think it is fantastic! The world and lore make it an Elder Scrolls title, not to mention the non-conventional more RPG-like gameplay.

If there's a free trial or if it's free I will definitely play it, if its subscription I'll wait till it goes free, that seems to be the trend these days. But hey works for me : )

It will most likely be buy to play, so the best you can ever hope for is a sale, like Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World.

 

As for whether I'm going to play or not, I am really not that interested in it, but I may be forced into it seeing as how I'm the leader of a 200 player guild and one of the more popular options among upcoming MMOs is TESO. I just hope we get into the alpha of another game (currently talking to the producer of another well known franchise) before that time.

I will try it out, but seeing how they development engine is the same as SWTOR, I guess it won't last long.

If it's Buy to play, definitely. I'll pre-order it after trying out the beta. If it's subscription, I'll play the beta and leave it at that.

 

Considering how subscription based MMOs have almost always failed and turned toward an F2P model within 2-3 years, the logical choice for TESO would be B2P.

I really want to play it and it appears to be so much better than any MMO I've seen since WoW came out, but I'm not going to support a subscription based MMO.

I mustered up the balls to put my foot down. Not playing TESO because it clashes with Star Citizen which is way more important. Thus my community might shrink a little but I just had to.

 

So no, not playing TESO. There are enough of those games coming out every year that I don't need to play this one, but Star Citizen is probably a once in a lifetime opportunity and it'll take a hundred wild horses to pull me away from it.
