HDMI wont work

My pc wont let me connect it to my tv or anything else. It has an hdmi port, however I suspect it is only in and not out. Is this possible, why would it have just in, what can I do with it? Is it just useless?

Btw, my pc is an all in 1 toshiba (it was impulvisely bought by my dad, but it works fine except for the hdmi thing).

That is definitely an HDMI out port. What does the monitors screen in Windows look like after you plug the tv in?

Nothing changes when I plug it to my tv, not in the pc nor in the tv. I checked the cable and it works (I also tried with 2).

after plugging it in, press Win+P on your keyboard and choose duplicate

It doesnt detect the second screen.

Just looked at the specs of the toshiba PX30t and id has both an HDMI IN and OUT so check that youre plugging into the right one if you have that model.

Yea, your pics arent working. That is most definitely an HDMI IN only. That computer is meant to replace a TV, not connect to one, as it has a TV tuner built in and a bunch of other features.

Plug your cable box or console into it and use it as a tv when you want.
