What headset would you recommend that costs around £90? Currently I use the headphones with an in-line mic that comes with the Galaxy S3 (with a headset splitter), so most headsets would be better than what I currently have. I usually play cs:go, so I want a headset with surround sound so I can hear where the enemies are around me. The reason I want it to be wireless is because sometimes I get too far away and the wire for my headphones isn't long enough; resulting in wither the headphones getting unplugged, coming out of my ears or both, which is frustrating. Right now I think the G930 looks good for me, but I don't know much about headsets, so I'm not sure if it isn't that good, or if there is a much better headset I could get for a similar price.

So I play a lot of FPS games (mostly L4D2 and BF4 these days, myself) and there are one thing I can tell you: Surround-sound headphones are a gimmick and never worth the money.

I'll save the whole audiophile spiel, but the short version is that you don't need specialized surround-sound headphones in order to tell where a sound is coming from. If you're interested in buying a set of standard headphones, look for ones that are described as having a 'wide sound stage'. It's audiophile-speak for "it doesn't sound like it's coming from in my head and I feel like I can tell where it was recorded relative to the microphone."

If you don't need to worry about background noise bleeding in, or your headphone noise bleeding out, open-back headphones are king at this sort of thing.

If you can get them, I'd look at Grado headphones. They're relatively inexpensive but are notorious for their quality-to-price in the audiophile community. AKG is another good open-back brand.

Once you have your headphones figured out just pick up a ModMic. Linus has talked about them and I've had a few myself. They work very well and have the added bonus of sticking on to whatever headphone you have. Which is why I have a $800 gaming headset (HIFIMan HE-500's), haha. But you don't need something like that, any headphones that are comfortable with a good sound stage will do. People like me are just crazy and weird.

If you want some specific headphone recommendations let me know what sort of thing you listen to and what sort of sound you prefer and I can help you narrow the list down.
