Quick PC build questions

Go to solution Solved by ThomasD,

If your usage will lean heavily towards gaming the 4690k and 2 x 970 is probably the better choice.

The trade off is that your rendering and editing times will be increased.

Personally I'd drop the second SSD and go with a 4790k.  Adding storage devices being a more easily justified future expense as compared to replacing the CPU.

Guys,I am thinking of buying a new pc worth 2500 dollars not including the monitor which is going to be either 4K or 2K. Here are the specs:

I7 4770K

Gd65 gaming from Msi

Rm 650

MSI 980

16 gigs ram (whichever's cheap)

Corsair 760t

Corsair H100i

2 X cheap 120 gig SSD's in raid 0

Guys I know these type of questions are very common but if you could please recommend some quick things by which I could increase my performance, it would be heavenly. Also, nearly everything is more expensive in India. Graphics card's 866$

Guys 1) Keep in mind that proves are high in India and m.2 SSDs have not come yet

2) I will be using the pc for 4K or 2K gaming and light video editing and 3d rendering later.

Thanks for sparring your finger to answer my questions though. :)
