Dont know if this helps but the difference between 1080p and my res is 60%.

The difference in performance is about 40% , you lose in average 30 fps going up to 1080p

My monitor res is 1440x900.

So basically its a little lower than the difference in pixels-

(1440*900) / (1920*1080) = 0.6

Rule of thumb is that it will be lower than the difference of pixels but a bit.

How much it depends honestly.
