ok guys i got a hard rive i got out of a computer installed it in a drive enclosure and it works on my pc but as soon as i connect it to my mac it will come on for like 3 minuets then click off and come back on for a few seconds and then click off again and it will clicking sound is this due to not enough power to drive

Anyways, it seems like something isn't communicating right, maybe check the connector on the drive itself and make sure no pins are broken off.

it is a laptop drive. both computers are laptops one is a hp and other is a mac book pro.
