So I was gonna give up building an Intel build since some fucker stole my components, but thankfully Amazon refunded me. After looking at some Build Logs, it inspired me to try it one more time. I was looking at the Asus Z87 Gryphon because its cheap, supports Haswell refresh out the box and has the armor which i'm getting to mod it. But the question I have in mind is will it run Devil's Canyon at higher voltage than Z97 boards? I watched a JayzTwoCents vid and he said something about his z87 board running a 4790K @ 1.5 volts.

-snip-

They'll run the CPU's the same, but it'll require a BIOS update before it'll work. Also, if you don't mind me asking, what happened between the fucker and Amazon?

And yay! 1000th post :D

Fed Ex left some components outside my door since I was at school, and some punk took it. Amazon gave me a refund.

That's super kind of Amazon to refund a $300+ CPU without a hitch. One time, dumbass USPS left out my case out near my mailboxes when nobody was home, good thing nobody took it, but they should try a bit better. I always like UPS over USPS, UPS leaves my package at my door and tries to conceal it a bit more.

Thats a good thing. Yea, i don't really trust USPS unless I order from Ebay lol. I might have to buy a big plant to put outside my porch when I order.

Yeah. Never had bad luck there, but I've had stupid shippers. I've had to sign for my phone but they just left three new Rolex's on my doorstep without any notification. Same with guitars - they've left guitars on my doorstep with Fender written all over the boxes but make me sign for strings .-.

Damn that sucks. I never knew mine got stolen till 2 days after. They need to notify people about these things.
