ok so on steam it says i pay for everythig in usd but im in oz. Am i using us steam or australian

Steam uses the currency of American Dollars but you will pay in Australian Dollars in the checkout.

It's a good thing that AUD ~= USD. Although it's been dropping a bit lately unfortunately.
