Sapphire 290 tri X Problems

Well I dont know if it is an issue, but my Vram is running at 1.3ghz..... Isnt this a tad bit low?

Ive seen people go upwards of 5k.... 

 

And yes i know my Coreclock can be higher (i will get it to 1110ghz)

1300 *4 because of double data rate trickery I dunno how to explain it = 5200

oh.... hmmmm okay. ill just bring it up to to 1450*4 than. Sounds reasonable

Theres a difference between memory clockspeed and datarate. The clockspeed is what you see in your control panel (1.3GHz). The datarate is 4x times the clockspeed since GDDR5 Memory can manage 4 data transfers per clockcycle. (So your datarate would be 5.2GHz)
