Computer wont boot normally.

Hey all, 

 

So I went to use my computer today and all of a sudden it wouldn't boot... hdd light would be on the just turn off with a flashing underscore in the top left corner. Computer would only boot when smashing f8 and selecting the right hard drive... any ideas why its doing this? Has been working fine every single day before this.

 

Asus P5K Deluxe

Windows 7

WD 500 Gb boot drive

WD 500 Gb backup

Go into BIOS and set the proper drive as the first selected to boot from.

Then just manually select it every time, it's not that big of a deal.

Nope Ive fixed it now... set the wrong 500 gb drive as first
