I was reading about SLI and i came across this web page while at work. It spoke about sli 2 different cards. wondering if this is even possible. I did not get the chance to read through all 25 pages of the post yet. what do you people think about it ?Happy reading guys as i will read the article  when i get home from work.

Not possible but you can have a dedicated physx card.

There's no reason you can't use any number of multiple cards from any manufacturer together, except, you know, software. Interesting to find someone on the internet finally trying to make it work, but I doubt it's easy to code for.

You can SLI different cards to have a dedicated physX card.

You can SLI different manufacturers [ASUS DCUII + MSI Lightning]

You cannot SLI different models to run as a dual GPU: 670 + 680 will not work.

Unless someone mods the drivers to make it work, like maybe they guy in the link OP provided?  :rolleyes:
