GTX 960 on the CX430M?

Stanturbo

My PC has the CX430M as the PSU. As the title states: Will the GTX 960 run on this? Or do I need to upgrade my PSU?

The CX430M has one PCI plug its an 6+2 pin. So, as long as you get a 960 that dosent need more then 8 pins of power, it should work!

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

Op your PSU is fine , depending on you cpu i would recommend getting a 280.

If you have a lower power cpu like the i3 or i5 get a 280.

Dont make the same mistake that i did of buying a 2 GB card OP.
