I recently noticed my machine had been blue screening and crashing a lot. I realized I had a dying RAM stick, so I took out all the sticks (3x2GB and 1x4GB). I put in two sticks to do a test. I turned on the computer and the monitor stayed in power save mode. The PC turned on, all fans spinning, keyboard and mouse lit up, but the screen stayed black. I then restarted the computer, and noticed the fans were extremely loud, spinning very fast. The screen still won't turn on and I can't seem to figure out the problem!

Tru unplugging of your power cables, it's helped me in the past when my system wouldn't post after an upgrade, even if your system is posting currently, it can't hurt to do this (Added a second GPU)
