So I've been searching the market wide and broad for as long as i can remember and it seems like my needs is continuously unfurfilled.

So my problem is that I can't find a decent case. I've been trying, realy hard, and i don't have much to ask, or maybe i do?... Anyways, i would realy appreciate if you could leave a response and your opinion about the whole "deal" and if i am too... picky?... Anyways. I'm currently running a Corsair 600t (for 2 years) Which is great, It's just too loud. And not stylish (at all). I've been thinking about the FT02 but I've heard it to be loud. I've been thinking about the 650D but I'm rather done with the 650/600T line. I've been thinking about TJ07 or the 900D but the TJ07 needs an aftermarket paint job, and i feel retarded pounding out for the 900D if (and i am) just going to do a realy tight aircooled system. (by tight i mean nice). I'm a pretty decent modder if i am to say so my self, so room for that wouldnt hurt. :)

So what I'm looking for:

- Aluminium ( just not too much plastic )

- 120 m Fans. ( One of the FT02 problems is there is only 1 kind of fan for it )

- Don't mind the price too much ( but i would set a loft at something like the 900D )

Thanks in advance for every kind of answer, surgestion, or comment. (I don't mind being called picky) ;)

I've always liked the NZXT Switch 810. That may be too much plastic. Up to you though.

Beautiful case with plenty of room for whatever you throw at it. :)

Also I've been considering this, but again, make it 350 bucks and aluminium/steel ;)

-Thanks anyways :)

FT02 is one of the best air cooled cases on the market made from aluminium.

Yet still i've heard it is rather loud? And i cannot realy replace the 180m fans, since there is only like, 3 diffrent 180m fans. If only noctua. If only. I could cope with the brown, if just.

The Corsair C70 case is mostly Steel which makes this case a pretty solid case. If you like Aluminium cases, the LIAN LI PC-7HB Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower is a good choice.

The C70 is slightly, no offence, but not slick. The Lian LI also needs a paintjob and a window.

( please Don't take this personaly (I'm only picky for the case) :)

You are definitely too picky!  I'm not sure why it needs to be aluminum or can't have much plastic.  If it doesn't have plastic it is likely brushed aluminum which your fingerprints will etch into the case. Nothing worse than that imo.

Since you are confident in modding pick whichever case you like the aesthetics most and roll with it.  Fine tune and customize to your needs!

I guess my tastes may be rather cheap in your eyes but I switch my case quite often.  IN the past 2 years I have went Corsair Obsidian 650d > Fractal Design Define Mini > Bitfenix Shinobi Window > NZXT Switch 810 > Corsair Carbide 200r. All of them I have been more than happy with I am just upgrade happy and a nut for aesthetics. Honestly I'm lovin the 200r.  It was so inexpensive, it's light and small and has some decent features for the price.  Also very modder friendly.

If you can settle with an MATX motherboard then the Corsair 350D is a good option... the only plastic is around the front and the case feet...

I would also recommend the Cooler Master CM 690... I have the original and it is an awsome case, but you might want to go with the CM 690 3 (the showed it at Computex 2013)..

No problem.  I am quite a nut for cases and oddly have spent more time researching cases than any other component.  <--- what a n00bie move hahaha.

What are some of the requirements you need in a case and what kind of aesthetics do you like(any examples)?  Maybe I can come up with some decent suggestions.  Do you really need a mammoth like the 900d?  All that storage and all that space..... just seems overkill to me unless you are going to do MAJOR water cooling and quadfire or tri sli.

Yeah again, i like the 350D (900D) design.

I'm so hoping for a mid tower/big tower for that line up. Would make my heart, and eyes melt.

But again, i might feel slightly... Dumb? ... For buying a 900D for aircooling! :D

The CM690 have always been plasticky ( no offence ) But the coolermaster cosmos mini looks rather neat (also computex 2013)

I don't get how a case can be loud...

If you don't like the included fans, just replace them.  Most cases come with 120, 140, or 200 mm fans, and there are good quiet options for each of those.  Mainly Bitfenix Spectre Pro or CM Megaflow for 200mm, and plenty of choices for 120/140mm.

Or just undervolt the included fans if they're special.  Make a ghetto low-noise adapter out of a 3pin-to-Molex adapter.

EXACTLY MATE!

The requirements is as written above, however the 900D is Super sexy, If only they would do a 725D in that lineup. Or i could convince my self it wasent retarded being a MONSTER for aircooling (+mods)

The FT02 only takes 3x180mm in the bottom, and the only ones making fans for that is 1 silverstone fan and 1 phobya (both seems to be in the "louder" line up) :)

Heard it was a hotbox? Anyways i heard slick uses it.

It's more W.C friendly than Air cooling friendly. Honestly buddy, if noise is the issue, you really should be looking at fans, not on the case. Choose the one that looks the nicest / has specs you need and then put some quiet fans in. I'm replacing all my fans with SP120 Q.E and AF140 Q.E fans.

Your very right mate. But that still narrows it down to quite a few cases out there, the 900D, 550D, can't realy think of anything else. I'm very close to buying the 900D (It's stock in my country the 18/7 for aprox 265 quid) but god, can't help it being rather stupid, all that power for mods and aircooling, damn. (And my h100i of course) :)

-Thanks anyways mate ;)

Btw I'm running a few SP120 on my H100 and a few AF120 all quiet edition at 7v. (looking to change them with either silverstone or gelid)

I can tell you really like your silence. If I was able to afford one, I'd get the 900D. Just go for it man, you'll have frickin' awesome bragging rights!

I know your pain, I'm trying to find a case to replace my 600t and can't find a good replacement either. I've pretty much looked at the same cases and found something I really didn't like, however I was going to buy the FT02, but no retailer has it where I live.

Yeah It's realy one of the best cases out there in a lot of aspects, one of the more expensive and bigger, but then again, size matters? :P
