You'll start to run into trouble with the indie games though buddy. Cool monitor, bit of a novelty in my opinion. It seems to be geared more to productivity than gaming. At least that's what I'd use it for.

I have the dell 29" 21:9.  Most games do work fine at 2560x1080 with a couple exceptions.  Skyrim needs the program flawless widescreen running to fix UI and assassins creed 3 will not do anything other than 16:9 for all screens other than eyefinity/nvidia surround, so it renders 1920x1080 with black bars on the sides.  Some games offer the resolution right in the options, others you may need to edit an ini file or use the in game console, usually google already has the answer.
