Weird linux install gui problems

Go to solution Solved by Wtalk2,

Possibly something was corrupted when you made the bootable USB, try making it again with a different program this time such as Pen Drive Linux and hopefully that will fix your issue :)

When I boot off of my usb, the splash screen displays correctly, but the install menu, where you put in your username and new password, and pc name, is wonky.  Once I am at the screen after the splash screen, there is a background image (like on the desktop), but I have to push arrow keys to get the instal config window to appear, and when it does, it is pushed to the left and cut off, and in Spanish, even though I have appeared to have selected English.  The distro I am installing is Deepin, and the steps I have taken to install are as follows:

1.  Selected OS Type: 64bit, Language: Multilingual (the only option), Mirror: MEGA

2.  Downloaded the file that said something like deepin2014.i323.iso, as opposed to the other file that said deepin2014.amd64.iso (the machine I am installing on has an Intel processor)

3.  Used SDFormatter to format 16GB Sandisk cruzer facet USB drive (Quick format)

4.  Used UNetBootin to create live USB from .iso file, written to usb drive

5.  Plugged usb in, booted from USB

6.  Waited for countdown "Booting with default method something something in 5 secs... 4 secs... etc"

7.  Countdown occurred, splash screen showed, had to press arrow keys to get install window to display, in spanish and pushed off to the left

I cannot drag the window to the center and cannot determine how to make it in English... any ideas?  Thanks!

:D
