Making a speaker wireless

Kaimac

Hey guys this is my first post here so let me know if I'm in the wrong spot, but I have a sony surround sound system that I have recently linked up to my pc, but it doesn't have the 'surround' feel as I don't want cables going everywhere.  Is there an chance I can make the surr L/R ones wireless to mount behind my chair or at least a little behind me in the room?

You can do it but its a lot of work especially if you don't have much experience with this sort of thing.

Buy a wireless surround set then, if they even exist.

The main issue with making a wired set wireless is getting power to the wireless speakers...

You can buy wireless surround speakers. That's less of a hassle than getting a wireless surround kit.
