Just curious as to what your current/maximum stable (stable enough to use for gaming is fine, doesn't have to be like 4+ hours of stress testing stable) OC on the core clock and memory of your 970 was, and also what you had your power limit and core voltage set to.

Heres how mine has done so far:

Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming

Core Voltage - +0

Power Limit - 100%

Core Clock - +171 (1601MHz)

Memory Clock - +496MHz (8002MHz)

So far only going to around 68c and 68% fan speed during the furmark test.

I've only done a little bit of playing world of tanks with it and about 3 minutes of furmark at 720p so far. (Don't have a 1080p monitor, felt like sticking to a more standard res for it, and started the test a few mins ago.)

Core Voltage-  +0

Power Limit- 100%

Core Clock- +135 (Haven't tried further)

Memory Clock- +300 (Haven't tried further)

Also, what driver version are you using?

347.09 according to Nvidia Control Panel.

6 mins so far in furmark, still at 68c, still going strong.

Only coil whine I'm getting is a slight staticy sound that I'm sure plenty of other GPUs get when under a high load.

112% Power, +0 voltage.

I've got the Windforce OC here. +215 (1531)mhz on Core clock, stable after multiple hours of benchmark, as well as multiple games. +230 crashed during alt tabbing, so I might actually be able to go higher.

But I didn't try it. Reason being, I also do Folding Home stuff, and my units were failing when OCing. They aren't designed for that, after all. Currently on +187 (1503)mhz, and it SEEMS that units are not crashing anymore. But I'm still evaluating.

Once I find the right speed for FAH, I'll go back to trying higher OCs for gaming. Btw, no mem. tweaks until I can stable the core clock.
