Hey thanks alot Queek! Just to reiterate, if I were to be running a 2 way crossfire, with cards that take external power I wouldent need the molex plug, but if I was running a 3 way crossfire with bus-powerd cards, a sound card, and a nic, then I probably should plug it in?

Yes that sounds reasonable.  If you've got your system fully loaded, it won't hurt (and would probably help) to plug in that extra molex connector.  

Hey so this is probably a dumb question, but would I be missing out on anything if I went with a ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z, as far as energey efficiency goes? (I know TPU dosen't matter with a R.O.G. board) But I was just wondering if the ROG board had any energy efficiant profile, or a mode to run with less power, frequency, or turning off GPUs while their not being used, for when I'm just web browsing, or not going to be home, but want to leave my pc on to download steam games, or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated, esspically cause this is probably a silly question, but I couldent find that answer anywhere else.

Also, I wanted to know if I need to plug in the molex power connector for the pci power on that motherboard? If I used cards that had external power I assume I would be fine, but what if I used dual or tripple XFX HD 7750 core edition 1gb model, which are single slot, and bus powered? Any help is greatly appreicated!

What would you get if you didn't go with the C5F?  I don't have much experience with AMD boards or cpus, but my understanding is that they are not as efficient in general as intel cpus/boards (if the price of electricity is high, you will end up paying more in the long run for going AMD and overclocking).  To my knowledge, ROG boards come with the standard asus power optimizations, so they do have an energy saving proflie.  How effective that is, I can't say, because I don't have a watt meter attached to my system.  

Intel's newer architectures (Z87/Z97) have fantastic power saving features, if this is a serious concern for you.  The system will downclock when not in use, and pull a fraction of the power that it would at full bore.  I'm not sure if AMD chips/boards have equivalent power saving features.

The extra power connectors are generally for 3 or 4 way crossfire/SLI, where the board might need a bit more help to power all of the PCI-e lanes (in my understanding).  This would be in addition to the power connectors that a graphics cards need.  If you overclock and want to run 3/4-way graphics cards (not recommended because of diminishing returns), then you would use that extra molex connector, otherwise you can leave it unplugged.
