Hi!

 

Does anyone here at the forums know any green battery powered LED Light or strips for my build? The reason why is because I don't have an extra 4-pin or molex connector to connect it with.

Why not just get a molex splitter to add it in via the 12V power.

Have you considered something like the nzxt hue?

I run my own indie game company called Color Dragon Studios where we are currently making a 2d platformer game called Small Earth.

yeah LED's draw so little power you could convert the 4 pin molex to a 3pin fan plug even and power it from the motherboard (I wire all mine directly to fan header plugs) or if you have a spare SATA power use an adapter to convert SATA power to 4 pin molex

Most fan headers are rated for around 100mA...thats not much current...i would be careful because you risk burning out the traces or the headers.

Very true, though a 5050 SMD LED draws 1.2A per 60LEDs, so, chances are you should be fine even with a 1.0amp recommendation.
