Should I forget about Android Lollipop for my AT&T LG G3?

I've heard so much about it and have been waiting so long, but now I'm not hearing much of anything. Should I just forget about it? I'm in the U.S. btw.

If you really want Android L, I would just root your phone and download an android lollipop rom

I'm not going to void the warranty.

If you need to use your warranty, it's a simple process to go back to stock android

They can still tell you've rooted your device. I'm not going to do that.

Not if you do it correctly.

But if you don't feel comfortable with it, that's fine :P

My G3 is under AT&T as well. But I didn't want to wait so I rooted and flashed CM12. To be honest it will take months until AT&T will release Android L for the G3. The international G3 already has it. I presume AT&T is putting their usual bloatware and crap on it before sending it out. But if you don't want to that's fine. But believe me you'll be waiting for a while. CM12 is an absolutely brilliant experience. I really doubt AT&T's version will match it.

I'm really not. It's not a big deal, my phone runs fine with 4.4.2 right now.
