Counter Strike 1024x768 Issue

When I change my resolution to 1024x768 my other monitor changes with it. I know this is supposed to happen, but I was wondering if there is a way to make the second monitor (without the game) to stay where it is. The primary monitor is 1080p and the other is 1024x768 (not to be confused with the res im running on the 1080p monitor). Thanks.

Change it in widows not the game then. WDDM is shoving the remaining pixels in there somewhere. It's normal- the other screen space is likely getting shoved over

So while playing the game in 1024x768 I cant have something up on my other screen?

You can, just change the resolution of the screen instead of in-game.
