Hey all! I just got my Razer Naga from Bestbuy in the mail today. So far I really enjoy it. But I feel a little concerned. Maybe someone can reassure me. Sidenote first, I take VERY good care of all my hardware. With that being said I wanted to ask this. I read some reviews about the Naga around the internet tonight and started to feel worried. Some people said that the buttons on the Naga stopped working or had to repair their Naga after a year. I got the Naga because my favorite YouTuber Melonie Mac has had hers for years and said she loved her and wouldn't use anything else. Being as she's someone that's very knowledgeable I took what she said as fact and went out and bought one too. I figured what was good enough for her was good enough for me. Plus my needs as a gamer and editor is starting to grow more and I liked the 12 additional buttons that it came with as I am a heavy Macro user. Also, I needed a mouse that better suited my big hands and felt better using. So I wanted to ask, did I make a mistake in buying this mouse? Am I worrying to much? If I take care of it, which I will, will it last me for years to come? Please let me know. I did buy a warranty from Bestbuy for the mouse so I have that to fall back on in case something should go wrong with it. Sub-sidenote, I also have the Razer Blackwidow Chroma keyboard which I have been very happy with and have no issues with that as I am a very clean and careful person.

Thanks in advance.

My Razer Naga has lasted two years so far, and everything still works fine. However, I think the Logitech G600 is a slightly better mouse (despite not having mechanical switches like the newest Naga) especially if you have big hands.

Still, I think it's a solid purchase. I think mice are the peripherals were Razer does a good job.

I think you'll be fine, but in the end, it's luck of the draw.

Thanks, I guess those other reviews could were people weren't taking care of their stuff maybe. But I suspect if I take care of, and clean my mouse and keyboard, it should last me a long while.

The newer ones certainly aren't as quality/reliable as, say, the 2012 Naga. I have one of those that's never given me problems. I also think it's a lot better than the newer model Nagas because I hate those new "mechanical" buttons and I don't like how they switched to the one size fits all side grip for the mouse.

I think nowadays with Razer peripherals it comes down to being lucky.

Ok cool. I've enjoyed using it so far, and I plan on doing a review video on it soon.

Not sure if a warranty from Best Buy was needed. Razer are suppose to guarantee their mice for 2-years.

Laser on mine had tracking issues around the 2-year mark & they sent me a new one.

The bad thing I will say this the replacement took 5 weeks to arrive because I had to send mine first then wait.

I've had my Naga molten for about a year now, the middle click stopped working a few months ago, but I fixed that myself. I still enjoy playing games with it as much as the first day, and as someone with fairly long hands also it still fits me more comfortable than most gaming mice I've tried
