Hello Everybody! This is actually my first post on this website and this is my first overclock as well! Anyway, the system is very stable at 4.4ghz. I ran AIDA 64 for 2 hours and thirty minutes than played games for the rest of the day with no crashes. Game I used was mainly Shadow of Mordor. Here is my rig, and settings for 4.4ghz

Intel Core i5-4670K @ 4.4ghz

8GB of 1600mhz memory Duel Channel

Asrock H87M-ITX

Gigabyte GTX 760 OC 4GB Edition

Samsung SSD 256GB

Western Digital Drive with 1TB of storage

corsair obsidian 250d

Corsair H80i

Now for the overclock settings, I am running the 1.80 version in my bios and I cannot find anywhere to change the cpu input voltage, so it might seem slightly low. Keep in mind this is a fairly bad chip. System crashes after a split second at 4.6ghz

Intel Core i5-4670K @ 4.4ghz

Cache Ratio @ 3.8ghz

Vcore 1.27v

Cache Ratio voltage 1.23v

CPU input voltage 1.75-1.85, it constantly fluctuates (I cannot find anywhere in the Bios to change it)

Idle temps are 34c - 40c

Playing games it gets up to 55-60c

Stress testing it gets up to 70c (very impressed with the cooler)

My question is this: Should I try for 4.5ghz? I bumped up the Vcore to 1.31 and the system crashed running AIDA after 10 minutes (BSOD 124). I think the CPU would need 1.33-1.34 to be stable at 4.5ghz. Is that worth it? Or should i just stick with the safe 4.4ghz overclock?

You could always try it but in all honesty it will barely improve performance. Nothing that will be noticable. The only reason I overclocked my cpu is to get the best out of my pc and also for the fact that you can "brag" sort to say about your oc.
