What CPU is for me?

I am planning a build and need some cpu help. I want a cpu good for me, but don't wanna overspend. Here are my requirements:

-Gaming

-Moderate programming (unity and some c++)

-Daily use

I am biased towards intel for some reason(probably the Linus ads)

Once again, cheap but gets the job done.

Id'e recommend a 4690K, or a 4790K.

I'd get a 4770k, good for gaming and comes with turbo boost at a low price

unless you are planning on using one of the latest high end graphic cards, than no.  (even then not really for single gpu gaming).

You won't need a i7 for your needs just a 4690 (k) at max.

I would say the 4670K/4690K, if the 90 variant is more than an additional £30 (or what ever that is in your currency) then just get the 70k variant as imo I don't think there is that much of a performance boost.

yeah, this is another very good option. can't go wrong with a better binned, non-K i7 cpu for cheaper.

the 4690k is cheaper right now and overclocks better. im not sure why people still recommend this over the other.
