As you've probably heard, the early access game, H1Z1 was launched on steam. I assume you've also heard that they lied about implementing pay to win and are now accepting refunds to cover their mistakes. http://venturebeat.com/2015/01/16/h1z1-pay-to-win-critics-can-get-their-money-back-from-sony/ I have several friends who bought it and are having a blast and quite frankly, this game intrigues me. I do not want to wait for this game to become f2p and I would really like to buy it. However, supporting the devs at this point really hits hard against my morality. I do not want to support these liars and I want to make it clear that their actions are in no way acceptable.

My choices are:

-forgive them and hope that they can redeem themselves later down the line and have the rest of the gameplay justify the support I have given

-refuse to support them until they show signs of compassion for the community and miss out on what looks to be a lovely game despite the given circumstances

What are your opinions?

It doesn't look like a great game, it looks like every other zombie survival game ever.

True, however I like the feel and the art of the game. It's almost like telltale's walking dead mixed with dayz in an arcady openworld. Which is unique in its self. I, being a fan of zombie survivals, would like a little diversity. DayZ is getting old.

I plan on getting Dying Light, but I would really like to see player interaction. That's what I love so much about DayZ (especially rp server) and Arma 3

Combining Telltales Walking Dead makes me think less of it.

One of my favorite games. So in highlight of my perspective, it makes me adore it.

Since I respect the opinions of LTT, I will not purchase the game.

Never hurts to wait.

Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.

As I get older I get angrier more cynical, meaner. I feel some warning posts coming. I feel a ban coming. I was warned.

If you like the game then support the developer . Simple as pie.

Normally it is. I like the game, dislike the developer. I'm not sure how much I like the "buy airdrop" thing.

This game has looked crappy to me from the start, and the launch proves that it is. If I were you I would not buy it.

They need to pay for the servers and etc somehow.

Yeah true. Originally, they promised the only micro transactions would be cosmetic items.
