Now I say odd because most people won't have this issue and it isn't too a big problem. OK a little background, I installed this on the 16th and everything went as planned and pretty easy. Now on the 17th it is all going real well loving the display and just having something to push buttons on my 450D. Last night I was roaming the net and decided to open the window right next to my computer and it was less than 22*c outside and the wind allow nice cool air to enter right in front of my case. That is when things started acting up , when the recon read case temp below 20*c it seemed like it didn't know how to react and the fan speed where all over the place. The rpms would jump everywhere in between 0 and full speed. Now I have tested this three time since last night and every time the same thing and one more thing to throw things off a little more is it does on auto and manual. So to my questions are 1. should I be worried about this 2. is it going to hurt my fans. 3. anyone else had this issue 4. i know a bitfenix rep runs these forums so could someone point me to him

Hmm, i´m one of the people answering support tickets, but i have never heard of this before :)

Do you have your temp probes placed in the case, or just in a bundle tucked away?
Connected to USB so you can try the software from our website, or Phoebetria ?

Doing this on both auto and manual mode is really really strange.
No other connected stuff in your computer acting up, just the Recon ?

If possible, can you record the display on the Recon while it does this strange things with your smartphone or similar, insert it here on the forums, or PM me a link.

Right now I have all them bundled inside the case until I get my new motherboard and CPU.

I do have it connected to USB but I tried to download the software but I was having issues with it. I downloaded it and then it said it was a .rar file a I didn't have a program to open it, so I downloaded a program for that but when I tried to extract it it just opened a web page that didn't work.

Nothing else is acting up, just recon when the temps get below 20*c

The weather here has warmed up a little so I'll have to see if I can get the temps to drop that low in the case to be able to record it.
