A lot of my games make my monitor flicker/flash

After a year of Windows 8 I finally gave up and went back to Windows 7.

 

Dark Souls 2, Witcher 2, Far Cry 4 umm I'm sure there's others, the games technically run, but the monitor is constantly flickering/flashing making them nearly unplayable.

 

64bit. GPU drivers are updated to the latest.  780 SLI

It's most likely your SLI brisge

While playing your game wiggle your sli bridge until the flickering stops.

lol wow that is so weird how just the tiniest movement on an SLI bridge can mess things up so badly.

 

I didn't even mention that Far Cry 4 was literally unplayable cause it didn't even boot properly (just black screen) but I nudged the SLI bridge a little and everything fine. Thanks, friend.
