Some motherboards with an extra "headphone amp" put it on the front panel header only, some put it on the back only,some put it on both.... Dunno why they don't let people know more specifically but glad you got it worked out.

is there a chance that the front panel is the amped one ? coz i dont have it connected since i dont have a case , but wouldnt that be weirD ? o3o
