I recently sent my NZXT H440 out for Hydro Graphics and I needed my computer to use while the case was gone. So I build my computer into my old Antec 1200 v3. Everything is plugged in correctly and I have double and triple checked all the cables. When I press the power button. the computer flicks on and then off in less then a second. The fans get less then an eighth of a rotation. My set up is:

AMD fx 9350

Gigabyte 990fx-ud7

Gigabyte r9 270x 4gb

Cooler master v1000

Kingston HyperX 3k 240gb SSD

Kingston HyperX Black 16gb 1600mhz

I hope the problem isn't ESD related. Please help.

Is that a computer or a jet engine? Why not both?

I know you said you tripple checked everything, but are you sure all your power cables and the connection to your wall outlet are all snug? also try reseating your ram/cpu something might be out of place and god forbid your pins are bent O_o

Check the GPU too

Did you make sure to touch something metal before you touched all of your installed parts? Were you on carpet at the time?

I can't think of anything else, it could be because of ESD, but I really don't know what else could cause something like the issue you're having.

You might just need to wait until your case comes back, reset it up, and see if it works the your case.

Downloading programs from CNet is not a good idea, as they will commonly include unwanted, and sometimes dangerous bloatware... The more you know.
