Hello guys i have a huge problem but its such a mysterious thing of a problem though.

I had GTX 770 Pallit which in the end it "broke" , i sent it back .

Because the company was delaying to sent me back the graphics card , the company which i ordered the 770 told me i could get the Asus 770. So okay i said yes.

Ive installed the card and when i go and play a game i get a crush with green , purple , light blue colours. NOT the blue microsoft crash.

Please note till the time the asus 770 was to be sent to me i installed my old GTX 450 card in.

My SPECS are :

Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.40GHz

Ram 8 GB

PSU : 730 WW Thermaltake

Motherboard : Asus P8Z68-V

What is causing the problem ? Its only when i play games. So theres something troubling the card.

Is it overheating ? I checked that with a program but the card is at normal rates.

Is there a possibility after so many card changes some drivers are still installed in the pc so i will need a format ?

Is it my PSU ? maybe its like "broken" and cant deliver the power for card to actual operate.

I need some help guys if you know anything about this.

Thanks.

Yes, make sure to uninstall all old drivers and reinstall the ones for your new card. And how so what the card broken? Think that caused anything to be hurt in your system? Unlikely but may be. PSU being the issue is unlikely however when you had the 450 in it was it fine?

I unistalled the drivers and installed the other drivers but i dont know if it like completely removed the old drivers (?) .

When i had my 450 , yes everything was okay. Im gonna re put my 450 in to check if its gonna work without crushing. If it doesnt crush i dont know what the problem exactly is.

It somehow got burned? I had the card for a year in my system without changing nothing. I left for holidays came back and boom nothing on my screen.

Okay, do that. If your 450 works then it's an issue with the gpu and unfortunately the only thing to do is to RMA it :(

Is there any chance like my PSU doesn't give enough power?

Im gonna try the 770 in a friends PC , if it fine there , then im assuming is my PSU not giving enough power to the card to work right.

Am I correct ?

I don't think so, It's definitely delivering more then enough watts to the card. Unless there is something that seems not normal about the PSU than I would imagine it is fine.
