BF4 Cannot start, msvcp110.dll missing

Have you tried using the repair option in origin? (If there is one?)

I have tried repair, Checking Game Cache. I even checked System32 and Syswow64 and it is there. where it should be. BF3 works fine.

I tried re-installing Bf4 updates,  Visual C++ updates , DX updates , the whole shabang. Nvidia GF Driver . So I Uninstalled BF4, deleted all the remains and well see what happens in a few hours i guess.  or however long it takes to DL.

Have you tried this fix.

Open your BF4 folder (normally C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4)

In the BF4 folder navigate into _Installer\VC\vc2012Update3\redist

 

Run vcredist_x86.exe and vcredist_x64.ex

I did try that though i typed it differently in the last post. I said Visual C++  which is the start of the whole name but the way you said it is the proper way i think.   Anyway I went to the BF4 folder and installed that one, then tried the Microsoft one, then tried a link in a post by another that was update 4.   I am not sure why this kind of thing happens and can suddenly just work. .... what do you call it when a application or piece of hardware meets every spec and appears normal but does not function properly? Anomaly maybe..?  Not saying it has anything to do BF4... So That is the jist of it for now.

6th DLC almost finished. Either way The one you need to launch the game is most likely on your PC anyway but still i had to go to Metro Last light folder to find vcredist 2010 x64
