Hello everyone! In a couple of months i will be upgrading my Graphics Card to a GTX 970. But i dont know which non-reference model i wanna go for. I am thinking about the ASUS Strix model, because of the fans. But i also want one that is blue to go with the rest of my build. Which one should i go for? Doesn't need to be a blue card.

How much do these models cost for you:

  1. MSI Gaming 4g
  2. Asus Strix
  3. Gigabyte WIndforce OC

Note: pick the cheapest out of the 3 above.

Gigabyte (G1 if you can, if not the normal windforce 3X is also an excellent card).

reference :3

yeah i know, but isn't a large card ?

The cheapest one is the Gigabyte one, but only with a couple of dollars.

Yeah don't forget about the G1 Gaming.

Well then, make sure the card fits inside your case, and go for it! If it doesn't fit, your best bet is the MSI. In fact, if you want a bit more silence, at the expense of higher temps and lower performance, you might as well dump in those couple dollars and get it instead of the Gigabyte.

To the people saying "get the g1!", I don't believe the extra price over the regular Windforce OC is worth it. It's a lot of money being used on features that don't actually improve performance.

Uh... what do you call "bottleneck"?

Also, depends on the game you are playing.

It's binned as well, which does improve performance.

I was talking about the Led, Metal shroud, Different Shroud design and Backplate.
