Upgrade to amd?

Hello, i currently have an i5 3570 and i have been thinking of selling it and getting a 8320 because it has 8 cores

and games are really starting to benifit from that i know it has poor single peformance but with dx12 and mante....

 

so what do you guys think and again i know the single core peformance is really bad

Thats a downgrade.  Just because a game can use 8 threads, doesn't mean it benefits from it.  You can count the number of games that really benefit from more threads on one hand, and an i5 still performs better than an FX8 in all but one of them, and that one is a difference of 1fps which is margin of error.

AMD announced the bulldozer architecture like 8 years ago, and since then its improved maybe 10% with Vishera. 

 

If your graphic card is older than 2 or 3 years, than you should be fine with an FX 8 core.
