Failed - Network Error

Long time lurker here and specially following Linus videos. I don't always register on forum to ask question but this issue is driving me nuts, I am tech savvy and I cant find a solution to this error. 

 

The issue is when i download large files, such as over 500mb. Chrome starts the download, few minutes later the download hangs with the error message "Failed - Network Error"

 

I just hope one of you have the same issue and found a solution to it, i tried changing the chrome network settings still no luck. Disabled Anti-Virus still no light. 

 

What am i doing wrong?

This might be a chrome issue. To confirm or deny that, try downloading the file with Firefox or opera and see if you still have the issue.

Tried with FireFox. Just cuts out again, my internet is good. I am hardwire into my laptop with no drop.
